No one would dispute that data volumes are increasing. Simply cramming in extra storage capacity solves the immediate requirements but creates further issues and fails to solve the long term problems. NCE are assisting organisations throughout the UK and Europe in their data management practise. In turn this helps the organisation deploy real management solutions that decrease physical storage requirements, minimise the impacts on the backup infrastructure and aid in the recovery processes. Through our experience within the Data Storage industry, we can deduce that (still) to date, the largest growth areas for data are file & email based.
