NCE R&D: Maintaining the Standards
All manufacturers will have R&D facilities, the goal being to develop new, exciting, cost effective hardware and functionality that will appeal to businesses buying new IT hardware.
NCE Europe has also built an R&D function into our business model, but as a leading Independent services provider, our focus is on the detail of each manufacturers existing Data Storage hardware so that our support services can be employed when the manufacturers refresh their hardware portfolio, and make obsolete product already commissioned in the end-user space.
To achieve our wide range of hardware capabilities, we routinely buy in legacy hardware that customers often ask NCE to support and maintain , or current but aging Data Storage systems, so that our team of engineers can take them apart, and re-build them until we are confident that our services are at least equivalent to the manufacturers.
When that Manufacturer’s system is then made obsolete, NCE uses our Broker purchasing function to buy in original equipment spares, either refurbished or for our European Repair centre to refurbish in-house, and then we are ready to reduce your client annual operational expenditure bill, by delivering support on our Channel Partners behalf.
